In 2004, the Mixed Income Communities Initiative released its first Making the Case report recommending the creation of an online resource center to help housing developers, policy makers and advocates address barriers to efficient and responsible housing production in the entire metropolitan Atlanta region.

Issues such as outdated zoning practices, overly narrow funding models, counterproductive density regulations and a general lack of information all impact the region's ability to deliver housing necessary for continued economic growth of the region. This web site is designed to help address these issues.

Of course the most pressing issues currently are the widespread foreclosure crisis and the economic recovery.  We have also included a considerable amount of information related to the foreclosure crisis, including application of federal stimulus and recovery program.

We appreciate your patience as we build the site.  If you find errors, omissions or would like to suggest content, please contact us (see below).
